Hello and welcome to my pages about Crete.
My name is Ray and I live near to the city of Hania in western Crete. I have been in and out of Crete since 1966 and these pages include my memories from that time. Later, from 1968 to 1975 I worked in Iraklion.
There have been many visits since, but now my wife and I have built a house here where we live permanently and have done so since 2004.
I sincerely hope that you enjoy these pages and I do encourage you leave comments as well as ask questions about this extraordinarily beautiful island.
